09/07/2017 - UPDATE -
Bonjour! Je m'appelle Paris. I am an older gal who is energetic and full of life. My wonderful foster dad says I defy my age. When it is bedtime and the other two pups are ready to settle down for the night, I am game for some more fun. Dad says I am up for play whenever. I really do have the best foster dad. I love him so much, and I show him that all the time by following him all over the place. I just LOVE to be with him. Dad says I am like Velcro. I honestly think he loves that I adore him so much. He says I whine a bit when he is out of my sight. Oh, speaking of my sight, I have to get eye drops every day, but I am good about it. I am really great with all people. I live with two other pups, and the one pup and I get along well together. The oldest pup and I sometimes have little issues over food or attention. We both want Dad's attention at the same time, so Dad has to be extra careful that we behave ourselves when we are together. Perhaps I would be better as the only dog so I can get all the attention all the time. Anyway, I am so eager to meet my family and show them what a sweet and loving girl I am. I am hoping that someday very soon I will be with my family. Merci beaucoup. Avec amour -Paris

Hello, my name is Paris. My owners no longer had time for me so they asked CSAC to help find me a new home. Right now, I am in the caring hands of one of the great Fosters that work with the CSAC. They giving me a great temporary home and finding out all about me. Visit me again soon for an update. Hopefully, I will find my new family that will turn me into a happy, cherished family pet again. The medical and custodial care of the many Cockers in our care is tremendous. More and more dogs are abandoned with urgent and serious medical issues. We are committed to providing the best possible care for these forgotten friends. Unfortunately, the mounting high costs are beginning to limit the number of dogs we are able to take into our program.
